Rules
1 - International Pro-Am 72 holes Stroke-play, 18 holes per day.
2 - Format: Play will be in teams of 4, a professional & 3 amateurs. Sum of the best two net and gross scores per hole.
3 - Amateurs' Handicap: no limit, 3/4 handicap with a maximum of 18 shots per player.
4 - Groups: participating teams will be divided into 4 groups who will rotate to a different course each day.
5 -Departure times: For the first time in the history of the Pro Am, we will organize only the last day the departures of the 1 and the 10 according to the general classification Net. No derogation will be possible for the last day.
6 - Classification: a ranking order will be produced for each course on each day (a team who wins on day 1 cannot win on day 2, nor win on day 2 and day 3, nor on day 3 and day 4. In the ranking order, the net score will beat the gross score. If there is a draw, at the end of the 4 rounds, count back will be on the courses in the following order: Belle-Dune then Le Touquet, Hardelot and Wimereux.
For the award ceremony, the physical presence of the winner (s) is mandatory. In case of absence of one of the winners, the lots will be put back by lot.
6 - Trophy: the team with the winning NET score will have its name on the " Trophy of Pro-Am International de la Côte d'Opale ".
7 - Tees: white tees for the male pros, blue tees for the lady pros and amateurs +70 years, yellow for the amateurs (men) and seniors pros, and red for the amateurs (ladies).
8 - Practice: no player may practice on one of the remaining courses to be played, and doing so will result in his/her disqualification.
9 - Doubt as to the rules: as said in 3.3. rule, if a player is doubtful of the rules and what action to take, he/she may play a second ball for the rest of the hole, without penalty. After their round, the players will immediately return the facts to the committee, to ask for a ruling, before signing their cards.
10 - Rules in case of bad weather: if all or part of the teams in a group have been unable to finish the round, for one of the four days, the course will be out for all of the competition. The amateur day prizes will be put back for the following day.
11 - Prize Money
Score Pro : 68 000 euros
Score Pro Am Net and Gross : 5 000 euros
Scores Pro, Pro Am net, Pro Am brut can't be accumulated.
